Dr. Brenda was introduced to chiropractic after a car accident in her senior year of high school. She suffered with severe neck and upper back pain and headaches for one year before going in. Within a few adjustments, her pain and headaches were gone, and her whole body felt better. As a curious freshman studying pre-med, Brenda took a part-time job in a chiropractic office. After seeing people getting over neck and back problems, ear infections, digestive disorders, menstrual problems, bed wetting, and allergies she learned that the human body has an amazing power to heal itself without drugs or surgery. Dr. Brenda changed her focus to preventing disease and promoting wellness before it occurs.
Dr. Brenda earned a Bachelors of Science Degree in Human Biology from the University of South Dakota, Vermillion in 1995 and a Doctorate in Chiropractic from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in 1999. After graduation she worked with another chiropractic office in Edina for one year before starting Stillwater Chiropractic with Dr. Dennis. These days Dr. Brenda feels fortunate to work mostly at home taking care of their 5 children. She also enjoys working part-time to improve lives through a mix of chiropractic care, exercise, nutrition, and lifecoaching. Brenda has competed in several figure and fitness competitions to be a role model for others. 'Helping people feel better about themselves by empowering them to be healthy, fit, successful, and happy is the reason I do what I do. Life can be difficult, that's for sure. My goal is to lighten the hearts and lives of everyone I meet.' She enjoys educating practice members in the Top 10 Wellness System. She lives in Stillwater, MN with husband Dr. Dennis, daughters McKenzie and Brianna, and sons Breyden, Brody, and Beau. They also have two dogs, Verdell and Bitbee. She enjoys reading, lifecoaching, earning her private pilot's license, traveling, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
